European Beach Tennis Championships dates confirmed

The European Beach Tennis Championships will return to the Karteros Beach Sports Centre Arena on the Greek island of Crete for a third consecutive year from 24-28 September 2025.

Many of the world’s top players are expected to compete at the event, which last year saw Italian teams sweep the men’s, women’s and mixed doubles titles with current world #1s Giulia Gasparri and Matia Spoto among the gold medallists.

For 2025 the Championships have been extended and will take place over five days of competition. The ITF World Tennis Tour RC1 event will be preceded by junior competitions for players aged 14 & Under and 18 & Under, to be held over four days from 20-23 September. The Hellenic Tennis Federation is hosting the tournament for a fourth consecutive year.

Tennis Europe member nations may enter a maximum of two teams to each competition, with national squads consisting of a maximum four players. The entry deadline is Monday 14 July.

As part of Tennis Europe’s 50th anniversary rebranding project, new logos have been revealed for the organisation’s flagship beach tennis event. The new branding draws inspiration from the yellow and orange tones of the beach tennis ball, integrating Tennis Europe’s new signature icon.
