Training Weeks at Mouratoglou Academy
The European Tennis Federation and the Mouratoglou Academy are offering extraordinary talents (boys or girls aged 12, 14 or 16 & Under) from emerging nations (Tier 1 Development countries) a special Training Week including transfer, accommodation, daily training and full board. Weeks available from: today (January 15th) until April and from October until December 2024.
The famous academy is located in the heart of the French Rivera (20 minutes from airport Nice) and is the first and only academy to be officially endorsed by Tennis Europe. It offers 12-hectares of sport paradise, including 34 tennis courts, 4 padel courts, 4 swimming pools, a 4-star hotel, a spa, a country club, 2 fitness centres and an innovative sports medicine centre. Players like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff, Holger Rune and Brenda and Linda Fruhvirtova train at the Mouratoglou Academy, under the mentorship of founder and owner Patrick Mouratoglou. Daniil Medvedev and 23-time Grand Slam Champion Serena Williams have also used the Academy to prepare for tournaments.
Tennis Europe offers 8 Training weeks per year. The eligible nations are Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Turkiye.
How to Apply
Sporting Directors or General Secretaries can apply on behalf of the biggest talent in their country (maximum one week and one player per nation possible).
Eligible nations will be contacted directly. Applications should be sent to maciejs@tenniseurope.org.
A Tennis Europe selection committee will allocate the 8 places, and will ensure an equal number of weeks for boys and girls.
Players must be:
- in good standing with the Federation;
- chosen by the national Sporting Director as having great potential;
- be among the top five players of their nation (in age group)
