The Race to Monte-Carlo 2024 is on!

Around 12,000 players compete in Tennis Europe Junior Tour events each year: but only the very best qualify to play in the Junior Masters: a season-ending extravaganza held at the world-famous Monte-Carlo Country Club.

With the 2023 champions having been recently crowned, attention now turns to the 2024 Race to Monte-Carlo, which begins today!

The first 14 & Under lists are topped by Niall Pickerd-Barua (GBR) and Marina Markina (LAT), champions of last week’s event in Pajulahti, Finland. Spain’s Fernando Fontan Pardo de Santayana leads the Boys 16 & Under list, while top European girl is Teodora Miron of Romania, a recent runner-up in Lleida.

There’s bound to be many changes in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to the weekly Race updates, with the top 8 highlighted every Tuesday on social media. The complete Race Ranking is also available online here.

The Junior Masters brings together the top 6 European players in the Race at cut-off, plus the European Junior Champion in each age group, and one potential wild card. More information will be made available in due course.

Who will join the likes of Rafa Nadal, Kim Clijsters, Alex Zverev and Belinda Bencic as Junior Masters Champions? Time will tell. Good luck to all and let the Race begin!
