Vitor Cabral has been named as the new Development Officer for Europe by the International Tennis Federation.
The new ITF/Tennis Europe Development Officer has a strong background in both playing and coaching tennis. Cabral, who is from Porto, has worked with the Portuguese Tennis Federation for 25 years and is also a university teacher in tennis, training methodology, physiology, biomechanics and sports management. He has been an active contributor to (and organiser of) Tennis Europe’s coaching conferences for many years and is held in high regard by his colleagues at Tennis Europe.
Tennis Europe President Vladimir Dmitriev said, “I would like to congratulate Vitor on his appointment and welcome him to the development team. We are already greatly looking forward to working together on the many projects planned for the new year. I would also like to thank outgoing Development Officer Hrvoje Zmajic for his many years of dedication and excellent performance in the position, and wish him every success for the future.”
