Tennis Europe has approved a request from organisers to reschedule the 39th edition of Les Petits As to 2-12 September, 2021.
The Super Category tournament – universally recognised as the world’s leading indoor 14 & Under competition – is traditionally held at the end of January. As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, organisers elected to move the event to the autumn, saying, “We truly hope that the global situation will improve by next September and that the health protocol will allow us to host the event in more serene conditions.”
Tennis Europe’s Juniors Department is currently working to establish the January and February calendar for 2021, which will include 12 & Under Category 2 events for the first time since the Junior Tour returned on August 31st. Category 1 and Super Category events for all age groups will remain on hold until further notice, and all tournaments must continue to observe Tennis Europe’s extensive new health and safety protocols.
